Series of vases shaped by meteorological conditions on specific sites.

I used a wind-and-cloth simulation on my computer to give shape to the untangible. The idea was to capture someting you can’t photograph, but still gives a strong feeling and atmosphere to a place.

Using the data of wind, humidity and temperature based on the exact coordinates of the user’s trip, I ran them in my software to create a unique shape. The translation was a vase, as the object is not meant to have any function. The wind influenced the overall shape, the humidity defined the thickness of the walls, and the temperature set the color of the vase.

On the bottom of the vase, the coordinates, wind speed, humidity percentage and temperature are engraved.

Next is a series of three vases from Iceland, Morocco and Japan.
